love/hate.

summertime baseball game with Linds and my creepy hook hand!

I have a love/hate relationship with the summer.  But then again, I have a love/hate relationship with all seasons.  Actually, I probably have a love/hate relationship with a lot of things.  Except for the words "lunch meat".  I will always have a hate relationship with that.

But anyway, back to my relationship with summer.  Summer is so super great and whatever.  It's hot, you can go swimming, you can go on adventures, hopefully you're not in school (you have no idea how much it hurts me when I find out that people are taking spring and/or summer classes.  No like, really.  I get really sad every time I hear that). Summer is also the time for sno cones and vacations and baseball and hanging out with friends all the time and not having one million responsibilities (hopefully).

But here's my problem with summer: clothing.  I haaaaaaate dressing in the summer.  It's SO boring.  And I'm not saying I'm any kind of fashionista by any stretch of the imagination (have you seen my party pants?), but summer just kills me.  The only thing I ever want to wear slash the only thing I even have to wear is shorts and a t-shirt.  And that's boring.  At least in the fall/winter/spring I can wear a cardigan and cardigans are the number one way to mix things up and keep outfits interesting.  Like, I'm not even kidding when I say my favorite weather is cardigan weather.  If the weather is such that I can be wearing a cardigan, then I have no problem with it at all.

And the other thing is that summer makes me so super one million hot.  As in, I only want to be wearing loose t-shirts because I'll prolls sweat through my shirt and I haaaate that. Ew, gag.  And I don't want to wear super cute and nice shirts because, well, summer is meant for having fun and I just feel like I would spill sno cone all over my shirt so I would rather it was a t-shirt.  I mean, do you feel me?

Summer is not cardigan weather.  Summer is where I wear the same ten t-shirts over and over and hope that I haven't worn the same shirt twice in one week.  I mean, I love you summer for your bbq's and fresh fruit and hanging out outside and flip flops and everything else, but if there was a way that you could make it so I can wear more interesting outfits, I would really appreciate it.

Okay, thanks.
