Today when we were at Family Home Evening, we were just sitting around eating dinner at the Ellis' house when I wanted to talk to Michaelanne, so I just said "Hey, Mike" to save a little time.  And then she was like, "You just called me Mike and I liked it."

That reminded me about how I super one million like to be called Stace.  I know that's super dumb and now that you're all reading this you're like, "Uhhh, so should I call you Stace now?"

The answer is no, you don't need to do that. I'll still like you just as much if you call me Stacy.  I don't know why though, I just like to be called Stace. It just makes me happy and it's like we're good friends or something even if maybs we're not really.  Plus, I often remember when people call me Stace for the first time.  For example, I remember when Dr. Call called our lab and when I picked up and said who it was, he was like, "Hey Stace, can you come down to my office?"  I was so excited that he had called me Stace that I probs almost forgot to go to his office.

Then just a few weeks ago, my other boss Sue was like, "Okay, Stace. What do I need to be caught up on?" and it was just the greatest.  She's already like my friend, but that just made it all that much better.

I even remember when my first boyfriend called me Stace for the first time. Ha, that was weird.  But seriously, everyone in my family calls me Stace and a lot of my friends do, too (except not really Danielle, but that's okay--although we talked about this recently and then she did call me Stace once yesterday).  Rach pretty much exclusively calls me Stace so that's also neat. But then again, I pretty much only call her Rach, so I guess it makes sense.

In other news, I also really like the name Stacy.  When I was born, I was supposed to be named Jalyn, but due to a confusing series of events that whole thing didn't work out and I was named Stacy instead. (And then my sister was named Jalyn, so it all worked out).  I really like the name Jalyn, too, but my name is Stacy and it's perfect.  This is going to sound weird, but sometimes I look at the word 'Stacy' and I'm like, woah. That's my name. Those five letters make my name and it's perfect and it's forever mine.  I know, that's weird, but whatever. I'm weird.

I should be done now because this is just a weird post and I think I'll stop before it gets even weirder.
