my favorite movie.

Sometimes on the weekends (and if we're feeling crazy, the weekdays!), the roommates and I like to watch movies. Which is awesome because I love movies!

I love a good plot and some character development and a mystery and a shocking ending! but I do not love sad endings (e.g. Premonition, Time Traveler's wife, etc.).

I love all the funny things that happen in movies and I love when my favorite actors and actresses are the stars! (i.e. Sandra Bullock)

I love movies!
But I'll tell you what. I have a favorite movie.  And that is The Lion Movie.

No, that is not The Lion King ("Correction!  I know your father.") nor is it The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (I don't even know if that is a movie, but if it is, I hope I never watch it because all I remember is being bored when my 3rd grade teacher read it to us.  I'll tell you this, it ain't no Harry Potter.)

So, at this point you might be wondering if you have ever seen The Lion Movie.  Chance are, you have.  Many times.

Look familiar?

You see, I have a little problem. My problem is finishing movies.  It just doesn't ever happen.  I get all ready to watch the movie that has been picked out and the next thing you know, I'm drooling on our super nice couch, dead asleep.

I swear I don't know how it happens.  Katie finds it a little frustrating, especially after I refused to watch True Grit or My Friend Flicka or Black Beauty or The Black Stallion or whatever other horse-related movie she picked out and then I don't even end up staying awake past the first five minutes.

So in addition to telling every person and imaginary friend (Mr. MacInfy?) and animal she's ever met that I'm the Relief Society President, Katie loves to tell people about my favorite movie, The Lion Movie.  The one I probably watch at least once a week.  That girl kills me.

So if you ever ask me for a movie recommendation, I'll likely recommend The Lion Movie, filled with wit and humor, mystery and action.  You won't want to miss out on this one--it's bound to keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time!

P.S. If you aren't already, be sure to follow this blog over there on the right!

Hey, I just thought I would confess that I am the only one who has checked the boxes--because I thought it was funny, interesting, and cool. :D
