"When the time comes to write the title of my story, it has to be mine. And I have to love it". --Jasmine Star.
I think that sometimes we forget.
Life is made up of thousands of moments. All of those moments make up events, relationships, and most importantly, our lives.
What would my life be without that moment I met my roommates for the first time,
or that moment of pure ridiculousness, when nothing in the world could have interrupted us,
or those moments, those hilarious and perfect moments I spent with my grandpa just weeks before he passed away,
or those moments where the world disappeared and it was just us, tearing up the dance floor,
or that moment when the best friend friend walked out of the temple all married and stuff,
or that moment I saw my baby brother off on his own, thinking about the city he's going to build one day,
or that moment when we were all together as a family, not yet knowing how our family would grow.
These are moments. Moments that make up a life. Moments that make me me. Moments that include people who I create relationships with, who I laugh with, cry with, share nothing or everything with.
It blows me away that just one little decision could put my life on a completely different route.
When it gets down to it, I choose the moments. I create the moments. What kind of moments will I create? Which moments will I let impact my life? Which moments will help me? Which will hurt me? Where will I create these moments? Who will I create these moments with?
When I look back on my life, I want to know that those moments created the best me. I want them to make me into someone I love, someone I can be proud of.
I think that so far, I'm on track. I like who and where I am. I love the moments I've experienced, even if some are harder than others.
Don't take this life for granted--it's the only one you've got. So cherish the moments, appreciate the people, reflect on the events, the milestones, and your life--the part you've lived, and the part you have yet to live. Make the most of it. Make it the best.
...and love it.
That's my plan, anyway.

DON'T TAKE ADVANTAGE? hmmm . . . okay. I'm dropping out of school tomorrow.
I'm confused. What are you talking about?
But I do have to say, dropping out of school might not be a bad idea for you. Your stench spreads across the entire campus and its disgusting.
Thanks, pooky!
Stacy: I think I have a song for you:
Little Moments by Brad Paisley :)
