Today Is My Lucky Day

Have I already written a blog post with this title?

Today is such the happy day. SUCH the happy day.  Things are just working out perfectly today.  Seriously, it has been so pleasant.

Excellent things that have happened today:

I woke up on time (that is always exciting)
Work was fantastic (although I told approximately 47238907 people that the tickets to the Chemistry Magic show are sold old--thank you, Daily Universe for waiting until the shows were almost over to put us in the paper...how did you know we didn't want advertisement for the Tuesday and Wednesday shows?  PSYCH.  Rude.)
I am reading an excellent book--the kind where you don't want to put it down.  I forgot how happy those books make me.
I had a most delicious lunch--thank you, Racha.
I had some liquid nitrogen (i think that's what it's called) ice cream courtesy of Y-Chem.  Ice cream could make me happy any time of the day and any day of the week.
My physical science class lasted for exactly 2 minutes. YES.  That meant I could go finish my finance homework (2 assignments in 30 minutes--call me a genius).
Then came the BEST news of the day.  As you could probably tell from the fact that I haven't blogged in five VERY long days, I've been a bit busy lately.  I've been going, going, going for the longest time.  The pile of things to do never seems to get any smaller.  I have a D&C test I have to take today, and I've had hardly any time to study for it.  So I was looking forward to an excellent afternoon/evening full of studying with what little energy I have left...and unfortunately, that's a very little amount.  Then I walked into my D&C class today and sat down.  I didn't even look at the announcements (I just wanted to read my book).  Then class started and he quickly went over the announcements. "Blah, blah, blah is due today and the test will be extended until the 26th."  SAY, WHAT?!? Next Tuesday?!  So you're saying that maybe, just maybe, I'll get more than six hours of sleep tonight?  I might be able to go home while it's still light outside?  I might get to spend more than an hour at my apartment, considering for the past few weeks the only thing I ever do there is eat dinner and sleep...and you think I'm kidding.  You're saying that maybe, just maybe, I won't have a headache from spending so much dang time at the library?  And maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to look at my "need-to-do-but-it-isn't-absolutely-necessarily-vital-to-do-which-is-good-because-I-have-absolutely-no-time-to-do-it list?"  Because, you know, if that were true, I just might be the happiest person alive.

No, but really.

So, moral of the story: I'm happy.

Then, after that class, I went to pick up my free shirt for being beautiful! Ha, no but really.  It was for that challenge that I did...I'll be honest, I stopped blogging about it, but I still did it.  Don't you worry.

And now I am here, listening to Taylor Swift and her new songs.
Also, my mom is nice and is going to send some stuff to me because my grandparents are coming out here next week.

I still have a busy weekend ahead, but right now, life is nice.  Oh, so very nice.
