How Did This Happen?

To my ever-faithful blog readers (so basically this is to me...ha),

I'm sorry I haven't been a very good blogger.  I'm a lot better at stalking other people's blogs than updating my own.  But here's the thing.  Life is crazy.  School is ridiculous sometimes.  Now, I don't want to get ahead of myself, but if I've figured things out right, I don't think I'm going to have very much homework this weekend!!!  I'm so stoked.  I think I just have my weekly 6-pg. paper for Physical Science, and if I'm feeling ambitious, I could do my 3-pg paper for sociology that's due later next week.  We'll see.  So I'm pretty excited for some well-deserved sleep (at least I think I deserve it) and the consumption of less than healthy food.  Maybe I will vacuum my room (You do NOT want to know how many hairballs could be found in there), read the dictionary, do my laundry, take the time to look mildly presentable, maybe even go to the dollar theater to see a good FLICK.  I love that word.  Flick.  I also want to update my iPod and go through my pictures.  Does anyone know of a good, FREE photo editing program.  I really want to edit photos, but I just don't really know how. eh.

Tomorrow is payday.  Woo.  Also, I made the connection yesterday that the last month's rent of my contract has been paid for, so I can start saving some money!  Yee!

PEOPLE.  Thomas got his permit the other day.  What is happening?  Last I checked, he was like 12.  Speaking of 12, JAKE JUST TURNED TWELVE.  What the what?!?  I still remember being in second grade and announcing to the class that my little brother, Jacob Douglas LeCheminant had been born the Friday before.  My teacher wrote it on the board.  Highlight of my 8-yr-old life.

But really, when did my little baby brothers grow up?  It's crazy.  Jake and I have always gotten along pretty well, mostly because I've always been his "protector", but Tom and I haven't always been the best of friends.  Man, we used to fight to the death. (Fortunately, Tom is a cat, so he has nine lives, otherwise he'd be gone...ha).  I swear, everything was the biggest deal.  I used to think mom and dad ALWAYS took his side and I hated it.

"Mom, Stacy is being mean to me!  She's kicking me and pulling my hair out.  She stole my banana and my toys.  She's calling me a baby, but look at me!  I'm like four years old and she's beating me up!"--Thomas.
"He was looking at me funny!"--Stacy

Still can't quite figure out why they never sided with me.

But now, we're pretty good friends.  Funny how that works out.  It was the same way with me and Matthew, except I was the one being picked on...except I usually fought back.  Let me tell you, being littler than the other person and crying tend to do the trick. Ha.

Well, I have class in 6 minutes.  I should go.  Blog readers (okay...Stacy) I promise to be better at blogging.  Actually, I don't promise. But I'll try.  And if I fail, you'll just have to find some other way to entertain yourself.  I've heard juggling plates is kind of fun.

Don't worry, Stacy. You have at least one stalker other than yourself...
Re: photo editing
How much/what kind of 'editing' do you want to do? And where do you want the photos to end up? Google has a free download called Picasa which seems pretty okay. Adobe offers a simple browser based editor at photoshop.com, you upload your photos to the site to edit them. Flickr has a similar thing called Picnik. These are all pretty limited options that will not do much more than iPhoto, or Windows photo gallery. Good luck!

you are so weird. your life is a tangent (and i'm not talking about math).
i remember when your mom was pregnant with jake. i thought it was kind of weird because you were my age and my mom was done having babies, so i figured he was a delightful accident like in Father of the Bride 2. funny how we see things so differently like that!

Dear Daniel, You're a champ. Imma try those out. Also, I'm glad to have a stalker.

Jess, I know. I never have anything substantial to write about. I just go off on whatever I'm thinking about. But it works.
