The LeCheminant Family Sings

1. This is my family's newsletter this year. Basically everything is true, including the quotes, except for the part about me. None of that is true :)
2. I don't know why the font is different.
3. Enjoy.

Author’s Note (and space waster): This year, Mom has decided that she is too busy to write this newsletter, and has used her motherly powers to force the job on us, Jalyn and Thomas. So if you don’t think this letter is up to scratch, try to imagine how you would feel if you were forced into doing something like this, and then cut us some slack.

This year has been chock full of work for us, but we were chock full of happiness too. We had to attend two weddings (which we hardly helped plan), but they were chock full of fun. However, because of these weddings, we had to host two wedding receptions at our house, which meant a lot of cleaning for us. You see, “Adam fell that men might be and men are that they might have joy.” Let’s tell you how chock full our year has been for each of us:

Dad turned 51. He received his first letter about dealing with old age. What a joyous occasion that was! He also picked up Luanne Coughney for many Sundays, except for the one where he made Jalyn pick her up. Now Jalyn and Dad don’t speak to each other.

Quote Wall: “Luanne, all you need is a wheelchair and a restraining order.”

Mom planned every activity for the stake, from dances to volleyball to Girl’s Camp. Oh yeah, and she spent a few minutes planning for this trek thing.

Quote Wall: Thomas: “We should smear peanut butter all over the wall, too.”
Mom: “But I don’t want it to look tacky.”

Danny got married, and he is moving to New York. His interviewer didn’t read his resume, but he still got hired.

Quote Wall: He doesn’t live here, so he doesn’t get a quote.

The new Monkey Island came out, and the fifth episode is coming out soon!
Quote Wall: “You fight like a cow!”

Matthew graduated from BYU, got married, and applied for a bunch of dental schools. He was only accepted to Chico State. Go Matthew!

Quote Wall: No residency, no quote.

Stacy discovered that she has a flat booty, and she finally figured out that baths and showers are good for you, so she started taking them more than once a month. She also stole Mom’s good cooling rack, because she broke the other one and didn’t tell Mom she was taking the good one. She’s going to get a whippin’ when she comes home.

Quote Wall: After she found out Jalyn’s ACT score - “I’m the dumbest person in the family!” (True)
Jalyn is awesome as usual. And she and T-Swizzle are best friends. She is also dropping out of school one semester early.

Quote Wall: “Ah, dang, you caught me on my ‘Be Free’ week. I don’t wear bras, either.”

Thomas discovered all the hidden security cameras at Addison Avenue the other day. However, the lady there said that they only check video cameras if they have been robbed. When we left, Tom said “Now I have to rob Addison Avenue so that they will look at the dance I did for security.”

Quote Wall: “Mom, I have always thought that Christmas tree angel was ugly.”
“The only difference between Malcolm and Stacy is that Stacy is potty-trained.” (He gets two quotes because he helped write this)

Jacob was finally potty-trained, but not until we had watched Thomas and the Magic Railroad approximately 17,843,287 times. He also made us watch Chrissa, an American Girl story about a 10-year-old girl who is dealing with bullies who stab her with pencils. There was an inappropriate part, where Chrissa goes into the bathroom and pulls the pencil lead out of her back.

Quote Wall: “I have always wondered what it would be like to be a bird. I mean, they have two legs. Oh wait, I have two legs.”

Well, as you can see, we are one hoppin’ family.
-The LeCheminants
P.S. A final quote: Grandma Chem: “And Blaine had the greatest job! 75 cents an hour!”
Grandpa Chem: “Yeah, they were a bunch of cheapskates.”

Toodles!

I like my family.
I would post a picture, but for some reason it's not letting me. So just imagine really attractive people, and you'll probably be thinking of my family. :)
