useful information.

I don't have much to say today except that I learned a few fun facts.  For example:

John Glenn was the oldest astronaut and he was 77 when he made that old person flight.

5.08% of Americans over the age of 20 don't have a bank account.

There are 10 sentences in "Where the Wild Things Are".

The president makes $400,000 a year.

The Celtics have won 16 NBA championships.

Some lady in the Phillipines (?) owned 1230 pairs of shoes.

Michael Phelps' arm span is 6 feet 7 inches, which is three inches wider than he is tall.

Texas takes up about 6% of the land mass of the United States.

The Statue of Liberty is 320 feet tall (I'm actually not sure if that one is right...)

A really fast firefly CANNOT fly 181 miles per hour.

Totes played Wits and Wagers today and had a swell time.  Plus a learned so much useful information!

p.s. that picture of baby Kenny at the top?  Totally irrelevant, but that kid can make some QUALity faces and he's not even two months old!

I used to read Where the Wild Things Are to my boys ALL the time and never noticed it was only 10 sentences long. That's crazy! Sounds like you had a fun day -- and that pic is pretty epic. :) Thanks for sharing your Slice! :)

Where the Wild Things Are is my favorite book and I guess I never really counted! Loved your fun facts...now I know if I am ever hit by a firefly, it was going LESS than 181 miles per hour!

That picture cracks me up! I love how his triple chin is peeking through. Also, I am so glad that you told me all of these fun facts in case I ever go on Jeopardy.
