Last Friday was our little Rachacha's birthday.
Racha has nice roommates.
Now, I realize that I am one of her roommates, which obviously means that I'm nice, but right now I suppose it's only fair to focus on Keech the Midge. That girl. She's nicer.
Here's what went down.
Rachacha is on the Institute Council at UVU (by the way, did you all see her when she got called up in church to get her little institute certificate? Atta girl, atta girl). Because she is on said council, she has meetings at 7 am on Fridays. So Keech decided that we would have a birthday breakfast with her before she had to go to her meeting.
Now, when Keech does something like celebrate someone's birthday or make cookies, or clean the kitchen, let me tell you. That girl does it right. For breakfast she wasn't lazy like the rest of us would be and whip out the cold cereal and maybe a gallon of milk...if we have one. No, Midge made french toast. But not just any old french toast. Special, orange, delicious-times-for-your-taste-buds french toast.
She woke us all up at 6 am (this is true love, folks) and we all gathered in the kitchen. Keisha had not only made breakfast, but she had also hung streamers and had balloons and nice notes all over the mirrors in our apt (which, for the record, we have an abundance of). Racha knew not to come in the kitchen because there was a note on the door that said something about how the dishwasher had exploded (totally fooled her). Then, when everything was ready, we had breakfast together! It was seriously one of the first times all of us have eaten together in a long, long time. It made me so happy. I love those girls.
Such happy times.

Happy Birthday, Racha! Just remember, you can belt in like nobody's buiiiiiiness!
(so as not to be judged, I just want everyone to know that that is an intentional spelling error. Please read it as "bweesness!")
